On the 3rd Sunday of every month join us from 2-3:30pm to practice reading to your librarian! This event is open to beginning readers and those who wish to share their reading milestones. Bring a favorite book of your own to share or pick out a new find here at the library. We can’t wait to see you!

Read to a DOG? Not just any dog….
Certified Therapy Pets are a wonderful way to encourage reluctant readers and children having difficulties with reading to become more confident in their ability to read.
For those children who cannot yet read on their own, parents & caregivers are invited to read with their children. In order to guarantee your spot, you must register for each session.
Registered children should arrive during the advertised time span and will read to the dog of their choice for approximately 15-20 mins.
Check our online calendar for upcoming dates & times.
Come join Miss Trina to investigate pumpkins! We will be measuring, weighing, estimating, counting, dissecting and checking for buoyancy! You may want to have your scientist bring an old smock or t-shirt since we will be hollowing out a pumpkin and sorting the seeds. This activity is for children in grades 2-5 and they must be registered.
