Idea to Invention: Be A Maker

Thursday, February 15, 2018
6:30 PM until 8:00 PM

Join local inventor Jason Clark to discover the art and science behind a maker project. Idea to Invention uses project based learning to teach mechanical, electrical and programming concepts. Our next several maker classes will be focused on an interactive art project. Concepts will include 3D design, 3D printing, simple machines, wireless, electronics and Arduino programming. Our past projects included building 3D printers, e-textiles, and drink mixing robots.

Jason is a lifelong Milford resident with 20 years of experience in prototype design and fabrication. His latest project is a device that can measure blood sugar without a blood sample! His projects vary wildly… from automated bird feeders to temperature measuring robots. His favorite part of any day is helping someone to the “ah-ha” moment, the point when an idea clicks.
