Teen Summer Reading Program 2019

The Teen Summer Reading Program is for teens entering grades 6-12.

Teen Ice Cream Party

Friday, June 14 @ 3 p.m.

ice creamKick-off summer reading with ice cream! Sign up for summer reading, get a free book, and make yourself an ice cream sundae.

This event is for teens in grades 6-12.

Teen Craft: Slime Suncatchers

Thursday, June 20 @ 3 p.m.

slime suncatcherThe fun of making slime and the beauty of a suncatcher all in one craft!  All materials provided.

This craft is for teens entering grades 6-12.

Teen Cupcake Wars

Tuesday, June 25 @ 3 p.m.

It's a battle with frosting!  Decorate a cupcake with the theme Out of This World for the chance to win a prize.  Prizes will be awarded for Most Creative, Most Colorful, Best Presentation, Best Use of Frosting, and Most Out of This World. All supplies provided, but you may bring in your own frosting and decorations.

Open to the first 16 people who arrive.  This event is for teens entering grades 6-12.

Teen STEAM: Bottle Rockets

Thursday, June 27 @ 3 p.m.

bottle rocketsThese air-powered rockets won't fly to the moon, but they're still fun!  We will build our rockets indoors, then take them outside to fly.  All materials provided.

Rain date: June 28.

Teen Night Sky Painting Party

Tuesday, July 2 @ 3 p.m.

Create a beautiful painting of the night sky using splatter paint techniques.  All materials provided.

This event will be held outside weather-permitting.  This event is for teens entering grades 6-12.
